The new version d’accord 4.2.7 is available for download. The latest release of the of the graphical PDF comparison solution includes the following changes:

  • NEW: CMYK output is internally rendered with the ICC profile of Acrobat9 so that overprinting with spot colors, analogously to Adobe Acrobat, can also display CMYK values >100% with a visibile difference to 100%
  • NEW: Parallel rendering can be disabled by setting env DACSERIAL=x if problems occur in batch mode
  • Fix: Hiding spot colors could crash for certain PDF files (Garbage Collect)
  • Fix: Issues with parsing font information in PDF files have been circumvented
  • Fix: Fixed crash for problematic PDF with missing layers (PDPageGetOCGs(srcPage)==nullptr)
  • Update: Latest Adobe PDF Library version 18.0.5PlusP1t
Version 4.2.6:
  • Fix: Report generation could fail for complex projects with many innput PDFs
Version 4.2.5:
  • NEW: Log output extended (esp. for batch processing)
Version 4.2.4:
  • NEW: The PDF import dialog maintains default visibility of PDF layers from the PDF input file
  • Fix: Added missing GUI update after changing the visibility of a PDF layer
  • Fix: Generation of PDF reports could fail for complex table content
Version 4.2.3:
  • Fix: Report creation (section "Input data") for input PDFs with certain page aspect ratios (height considerably larger than width)
